Stress is present in our everyday environment, including the workplace. There is positive stress and negative stress. Examples of positive stress can be expectations, deadlines, or motivating factors in our lives. Without positive stress, we would not accomplish anything we wanted or needed to do. It is negative stress, which when excessive, can contribute to health problems.
