Ocean Provider Network Features:
Nova Scotia Health has been using the Ocean eConsults tool to support some provider to provider virtual consults since 2022.
In March 2023 Nova Scotia began using Ocean eReferrals tool to help better manage and coordinate surgical consult requests. The tool has since been expanded to include magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasounds, bone mineral density and gastroenterology.
