About DIS
The Drug Information System (DIS) is a province-wide system that provides comprehensive medication profiles (Prescriptions, Allergies, Adverse Reactions, Medical Conditions) for individuals who fill prescriptions at community pharmacies.
DIS is also used for ePrescribing and Medication Reconciliation.
Use and access varies by user role (pharmacists, physicians, nurses, etc.) and organization (NSH/IWK or non NSH/IWK in community).

About SHARE
The SHARE Clinical Portal Community Medication Profile tab (CMPT) is a is a view-only portal that allows users to see their patients’ medication profiles. This portal cannot be used to add/update information or ePrescribe.
