Nova Scotia AI Scribe Pilot Program
About the Program
Nova Scotia is funding a limited number of AI Scribe licenses for eligible primary care providers (physicians and nurse practitioners) to pilot the use of an AI Scribe at no cost.
While pharmacy primary care providers (pharmacists) are welcome to express interest, program funding is limited to primary care physicians and nurse practitioners.
AI Scribes streamline documentation and reduce administrative burden, so you can focus more on patient care and less on paperwork. AI Scribes transcribe and summarize your clinical encounters in real time, then generate structured, summarized notes which are put directly into your EMR.
Next Steps for the Pilot Program
Nova Scotia is currently finalizing the details of the pilot program. The Department of Health and Wellness (DHW) is working through due diligence, such as privacy, security, legal and digital approvals to ensure the safety of use for our providers. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.
At this time, providers can express their interest in the pilot program by filling out the form below but should not purchase one of the Canada Health Infoway pre-qualified solutions directly as licenses will be distributed by DHW.
