As a medical learner, rotational travel is an integral part of your education and training. We understand the importance of having a comfortable, convenient, and safe place to stay during your rotations. Our accommodation services are designed to support you every step of the way, ensuring you can focus on what matters most—your learning and patient care.
For medical residents covered under the MARDOC contract, employer provided accommodations for clinical rotations are available throughout the province. Please get in touch with the contact listed for the specific site to confirm if the accommodations are available for your rotation.
If the provided accommodations are not available for your rotation, residents are preapproved for reimbursement for accommodations of $100 per night (including taxes and fees). If the accommodations are over this amount, please email a quote, including the date range and all taxes/fees, to meded@nshealth.ca for approval prior to booking.
For medical students, accommodations are available on a case-by-case basis at a subsidized rate. Please connect with the appropriate listed contact at each site to inquire on availability.
