 ample literature dedicated to Burnout as it relates to the use of an EMR. 
 We will discuss what has been determined to lead to Burnout in this enviro
 nment\, with some of the strategies and mitigations that can be used to av
 oid during design\, implementation and continued use of an EMR. As Nova Sc
 otia embarks on implementation of a provincial Clinical Information System
 \, we will discuss some of the challenges\, differences between the US and
  Canadian experience for providers and ways we can all work towards avoida
