DESCRIPTION:The Atlantic Canada Stroke Conference target audience includes:
  \n\nPrimary care physicians\, emergency physicians\, internists\, neurolo
 gists\, surgeons\, physiatrists and geriatricians as well as dietitians\, 
 nurses\, occupational therapists\, physiotherapists\, psychologists\, soci
 al workers\, speech-language pathologists\, and other professionals involv
 ed in stroke care.\n\nBeginning at Noon on Friday\, October 21st and all-d
 ay Saturday October 22nd\, this year sees a return to an in-person confere
 nce. \n\nOn Friday morning there is a Pre-conference workshop: Building to
  Last: Considerations for Starting Up and Sustaining Community-based Exerc
 ise Programs for People with Stroke led by Dr. Nancy Salbach with guest\,

 \n\nCALL FOR ABSTRACTS\n\nThe program planning committee welcomes experime
 ntal or clinical work or research in all fields of stroke\, for poster pre
 sentation at our meeting. Abstracts presented at previous meetings are eli
 gible. Applicants may submit more than one abstract.  Submitted abstracts 
 will be peer-reviewed and judged on originality/innovation\, scientific an
 d/or clinical relevance\, clarity of expression\, study design and present
 ation of results.  Space limitations may mean not all acceptable abstracts
  will be invited to present at the in-person event on PEI.\n\nSubmissions 
 must be made by September 26\, 2022\, using the form provided here. Please
  complete the form and send as an email attachment (separate files for eac
 h abstract) to jane.harris@dal.ca\, including contact information in the b
 ody of your email. We will confirm acceptances via email to that individua
 l only\, by October 3\, 2022.\n\nPoster boards for the display are 8 feet 
 wide by 4 feet high.\n\nTarget Audience for poster presentations\nAll prof
