DESCRIPTION:Nova Scotia Health and Doctors Nova Scotia are pleased to annou
 nce the launch of the Quality Improvement (QI) Rounds by physicians for ph
 ysicians. The topics for the upcoming seminars will include:\n\n\nSepsis\n
 Acute Exacerbations of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease\nHeart Failur
 e\nPneumonia\nLevels of Intervention\nUrinary Tract Infection\n\n\nThe ses
 sions are targeted towards all physicians who provide inpatient and Emerge
 ncy Department care. Each session will run for an hour followed by 30 minu
 tes of questions and discussion. All sessions will be recorded and availab
 le for download on the Doctors Nova Scotia portal.\n\nPatient-Centered Pri

 s a presentation on patient-centered priorities and goals of care. Objecti
 ves:\n\n\nReview local and published data to help inform best practices wi
 th goals of care discussions\nIntroduce the new Goals of Care form for NSH
  acute care\nDiscuss if and how this form may be adapted for use in commun
 ity settings\n\n\nEarn 1.5 CME Credits\n\nThis one-credit-per-hour Group L
 earning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family 
 Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the Continuing Professional
  Development Office of Dalhousie University for up to 1.5 Mainpro+ credits
 .\n\nThis event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as de
 fined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of 
 Physicians and Surgeons of Canada\, and approved by Continuing Professiona
