 vement Practice Lead\, Nova Scotia Health  Matthew Fillier (he/him) is the
  Grief and Bereavement Practice Lead for the Provincial Palliative Care Ne
 twork at Nova Scotia Health. Matthew and his team are working to build a G
 rief Practice Support Program for NSH health care providers and volunteers
  as they care for grievers and themselves. Matthew’s work extends beyond
  the palliative care setting\, including everywhere grief shows up across 
 the health system. The Grief Practice Support Program is aimed at helping 
 the health workforce enhance their knowledge\, skills and confidence in gr
 ief care. Before starting this role\, Matthew spent 16 years as an ordaine
 d minister in the United Church of Canada\, serving congregations across N
 ova Scotia. He also served as the regional leader of its maritime region c
 ongregations and in Bermuda.
