 ion webinar offered by the Grief Practice Support Program for Nova Scotia 
 Health staff\, physicians\, and volunteers. Grief Foundations is grounded 
 in a biological\, psychosocial\, cultural\, and spiritual approach. This w
 ebinar helps participants recognize and respond to loss\, normalize and de
 -pathologize grief\, and learn how to access valuable resources for Nova S
 cotia Health teams and the patients and families they care for.  \n\n \n\n
 \n\n\nSpeaker (1)\n\n\n\n\nFillier\, Matthew\nGrief &amp\; Bereavement Pra
 ctice Lead\, Nova Scotia Health\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMatthew Fillier (he/h
 im) is the Grief and Bereavement Practice Lead for the Provincial Palliati
 ve Care Network at Nova Scotia Health. Matthew and his team are working to
  build a Grief Practice Support Program for NSH health care providers and 
 volunteers as they care for grievers and themselves. Matthew’s work exte
 nds beyond the palliative care setting\, including everywhere grief shows 
 up across the health system. The Grief Practice Support Program is aimed a
 t helping the health workforce enhance their knowledge\, skills and confid
 ence in grief care. Before starting this role\, Matthew spent 16 years as 
 an ordained minister in the United Church of Canada\, serving congregation
 s across Nova Scotia. He also served as the regional leader of its maritim
 e region congregations and in Bermuda.\n\n\n\n
