  change leadership style \n\n\nAbout the speaker:\n\nScott Comber has more
  than 30 years of leadership experience in education\, finance\, IT\, heal
 th care and consulting. He established and incorporated two companies of h
 is own before assuming his role at Dalhousie University\, where he has spe
 nt the last 16 years as an assistant professor and university teaching fel
 low with the School of Business. As a researcher\, Scott focuses on health
  care systems (front-line ownership and applied approaches to system compl
 exity)\, leadership development and the scholarship of teaching and learni
 ng.\n\nScott is also Principal / Founder of LeadX\, a consulting company t
 hat specializes in leadership development and change management. In this r
 ole\, he works closely with organizations to develop exceptional leaders a
 nd facilitate teams through change. He is certified as an executive coach 
 and is an editorial board member of the Canadian Journal of Physician Lead
 ership.\n\nA keynote speaker\, author and award-winning teacher\, Scott ha
 s been quoted in publications such as The Globe and Mail\, Financial Post 
 and Business Week. He holds two master’s degrees (human development and 
 business administration [finance]) and a PhD in human and organizational s
 ystems. Scott is also certified as an executive coach\, is an editorial bo
 ard member\; Canadian Journal of Physician Leadership and is a faculty mem
 ber with the Canadian Medical Association. He originates from Nova Scotia\
 , and outside of work\, he focuses on his family and raising twins\, Mac a
 nd Ella.\n
