DESCRIPTION:Join us for an upcoming Grief Foundations education session! \n
 \nThe Grief Practice Support Program is pleased to announce the launch of 
 the Grief Foundations education series. These one-hour virtual sessions ar
 e designed for NSH employees\, volunteers\, and physicians.  \n\n\n\n \n\n
 Grief is universal\, yet everyone experiences grief in their own way. Ofte
 n misunderstood and rarely discussed\, grief can be difficult to navigate\
 , including knowing how to help those who are grieving. Grief Foundations 
 aims to demystify grief by sharing the latest evidence-based grief informa
 tion and resources.   \n\nThose participating in a session will learn abou
 t: \n\n\nRecognizing and responding to loss  \n\n\n\nDe-pathologizing and 
 normalizing grief  \n\n\n\nGrief myths and platitudes\, and effective alte
 rnatives  \n\n\n\nSupports and resources for health teams\, patients\, and
  families \n\n\nSessions are scheduled twice monthly\, starting October 9.
