Dr. Timothy Mailman is an accomplished physician leader with more than 20 years practice experience. He completed his MD, pediatrics and medical microbiology training at Dalhousie University and an Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Mailman most recently served as senior medical director of the Provincial Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Program. He has held leadership roles for two decades at IWK Health as division head of Clinical Microbiology, chief of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and laboratory medical director.
He is a professor of pathology, pediatrics, microbiology and immunology at Dalhousie University and lives in Hammonds Plains with his wife. They have one daughter.
