Dr. Kirk Magee is the Chief of Emergency Department Networks in the Central Zone at Nova Scotia Health and the Head of the Dalhousie Department of Emergency Medicine. He is passionate about advocating for changes that will improve the care of emergency patients.
He grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and attended Dalhousie University for his undergraduate studies and medical school. He then moved to Edmonton to complete Royal College residency training in Emergency Medicine before returning to Halifax.
Outside of work, Dr. Magee enjoys playing hockey, mountain biking, and spending time at the cottage with his wife and son.
