
A proven connector, physician leader, and change facilitator, Dr. Clarke began his education at Dalhousie University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and completed his MD in 2013. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Queens University in 2015. Since 2020, he has been active as an attending physician in emergency departments across Central Zone. He is the current Emergency Department lead for the OPOR project and participates on the Choosing Wisely committee. Since 2020, Dr. Clarke has been a valued member of Dalhousie Medical School faculty providing clinical preceptorship, lecturing and offering skills courses and Sim labs. Before returning to Nova Scotia in 2020, Dr. Clarke worked in myriad emergency and leadership roles at the North Bay Regional Health Centre and taught at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.
