A lifelong Cape Bretoner, Glen Brann brings over 20 years of volunteer work, professional training, and leadership experience to his role as Medical Affairs Lead for Nova Scotia Health’s Eastern Zone. With a background in physiotherapy and senior leadership roles in both public and private health sectors, Glen offers a unique perspective on improving healthcare delivery and physician engagement.

Passionate about collaboration and systems improvement, Glen is focused on supporting physicians and strengthening communication across the zone. He is known for his action-oriented approach and deep local ties.

Glen earned his BSc in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University and previously led operations for 21 rehabilitation clinics across Nova Scotia. He also served a decade on the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation Board, including three years as Chair.

Based in Sydney with his wife and three children, Glen enjoys boating, golfing, and skiing in his spare time.
