Grief is a universal human experience – yet many of us feel at a loss of how to help someone who is grieving. As a health system, it is important that grief is recognized and supported in a meaning way.
The Grief Practice Support Program (GPSP) aims to provide Nova Scotia Health (NSH) staff, physicians and volunteers with education, training, and resources to enhance their knowledge, skills, and confidence in providing high quality grief and bereavement care. Grief Practice Supports
The program is in the early stages of development, with initial training and education offerings focused on building foundations of grief literacy broadly across the health system.
