Katrina Philopoulos is a dynamic and collaborative health care leader with more than 20 years of experience. She began her career in clinical practice as a physiotherapist, working across both private and public health care settings.
As a Certified Health Executive, Katrina has successfully led provincial teams and initiatives that have shaped and strengthened health care delivery in Nova Scotia. Since 2019, she has directed Nova Scotia Health’s physician recruitment team, spearheaded the province’s physician recruitment strategy and developed a comprehensive community toolkit to support local engagement.
Recognized as a trusted and effective leader, Katrina is known for her ability to build strong partnerships and drive meaningful results in support of Nova Scotia Health—an organization of 24,000 employees and more than 2,200 physicians.
