The Physician Learning, Development, and Support team within Medical Affairs is pleased to share our Annual Report covering the years 2024 to 2025.
Report Highlights:
- Our onboarding team connected with 117 Family Physicians, supporting their seamless integration into Nova Scotia Health.
- We proudly received three (in FY 2024-25) Continuing Professional Development and Medical Education (CPDME) program accreditations, elevating the quality of our physician learning opportunities. A fourth program, the New Physician Onboarding Program, was accredited on June 4, 2025.
- Our Executive Coaches worked with 83 physicians, delivering 431 coaching sessions to support career growth and foster leadership excellence across NSH.
- We hosted eight professional development seminars, drawing over 500 registrations — providing valuable opportunities for learning and professional connection.
