On December 31, Dr. Patrick Croskerry was appointed as a Member to the Order of Canada by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General. Dr. Croskerry, who previously served as Dartmouth General Hospital's Emergency Department Chief and Director of Dalhousie's Critical Thinking program, was recognized for his work to enhance patient care by analyzing factors that contribute to diagnostic errors.
