The Dalhousie University Department of Surgery recently held a Research Information Night at the Nova Scotia Innovation Hub.
Open to medical students, residents, graduate students, clinicians, researchers and more, attendees had a chance to meet and hear from leading Department of Surgery researchers.
"The aim of the evening was to showcase some of the best and brightest research occurring within the Department of Surgery and provide a conduit for students to get engaged in world class research,” said Dr. Michael Dunbar, Department of Surgery Research Director, Nova Scotia Health Research Chair for Orthopedic Outcomes, Innovator in Residence for the Health Innovation Hub, and renowned Orthopedic Surgeon.
“We hoped to create a buzz about what is happening within the Department of Surgery and at the same time highlight and illustrate potential collaborative projects."
