Presented by Dr. Shannon MacPhee, pediatric emergency physician and the Medical Director of the Patient Safety Program at IWK Health. Dr. MacPhee is the Atlantic Nodal Leader for Translating Emergency Knowledge for Kids (TREKK) and serves as Co-Chair of the TREKK Knowledge Mobilization Advisory Committee. She previously served as Chief of Emergency Medicine at IWK Health from 2009-2018.

1. Discuss the evolution of TREKK: Using knowledge mobilization to get up to date evidence into the hands of emergency providers across the province
2. Discuss moving beyond health care siloes and towards integration and standardization of care in tertiary and general EDs
3. Meeting parents where they’re at --- use of evidence-based patient/family videos and stories
