Dr. Kamal will be presenting preliminary results from the ACTEAST Study.
The project aimed to increase the proportion of ischemic stroke patients receiving acute treatment and improve the efficiency of treatment in Atlantic Canada.
The study was carried out across all of the Atlantic provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador.
