~On behalf of Nova Scotia Health’s Mental Health and Addictions Program (MHAP) Leadership Team
We are excited to share with you a toolkit (CLICK HERE) of eMental Health resources for Primary Health Care (PHC) providers, including physicians, and nurse practitioners, as well as offer information sessions on these resources. The goal of these evidence-based services is to promote wellness and recovery broadly in communities.
Please see the resource document below, and attached for more information on the many tools available. We hope these tools will be a benefit to your practice.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to our newest tool, Tranquility, an Internet-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy program for mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression. Tranquility is available in English and French, offers live coaching, and is available by referral from PHC providers.
We will be hosting an information session for PHC providers, including physicians and nurse practitioners on May 26, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. We invite you to attend by clicking here, or emailing MHATransformation@nshealth.ca and the meeting invitation can be sent to you directly.
In addition to this package, a mailout/ hard copy version will also be sent to PHC providers in the near future, so please keep your eye out!
If you have any questions regarding the toolkit or MHAP’s eMental Health resources please email MHATransformation@nshealth.ca
