We’re looking to provide one more opportunity for DI staff to attend a 101 Information Session for the Diagnostic Imaging eReferral Project on Wednesday, May 17 from noon – 1 p.m.
Nova Scotia is moving forward with Diagnostic Imaging eReferral using an electronic referral tool called Ocean eReferrals. This project will allow us to improve how we manage and coordinate requests for these services to support more timely access, improve communication with patients and referring providers, prevent duplicate requests and other improvements.
This session will provide an opportunity for all to receive an overview of the project, see a preview of the Ocean eReferrals tool and ask questions.
All staff and physicians involved with Diagnostic Imaging Services (i.e., radiologists, technologists, booking staff, registration staff, etc.) are invited to take part in this session with Project Leads:
- Dr. Judy Rowe, Radiologist and Physician Lead, Diagnostic Imaging Informatics, Nova Scotia Health
- Kimberley Anderson, Network Leader, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services Network, Nova Scotia Health
