Grief is universal, yet everyone experiences grief in their own way. Often misunderstood and rarely discussed, grief can be difficult to navigate, including knowing how to help those who are grieving. Grief Foundations aims to demystify grief by sharing the latest evidence-based grief information and resources.

Those participating in a session will learn about:

  • Recognizing and responding to loss
  • De-pathologizing and normalizing grief
  • Grief myths and platitudes, and effective alternatives
  • Supports and resources for health teams, patients, and families

Sessions are scheduled twice monthly, starting October 9.
